Another long spell with no action, but at last something significant has happened. I've added a few pages for notes and questions about my ancestry, and a link to my family tree.

At last, a post!

Better late than never, but this is very late indeed. I created this blog in January 2009, & then proceeded to do . . .  nothing. Until today, that is.

I always expected this blog to be sparsely populated, but not this sparse. I could claim to have been distracted by events, but since those events have resulted in me having more free time, & being unable to fill it all with things I'd rather be doing, e.g. cycling, that wouldn't be entirely accurate. More a case of being diverted from my intentions by the results of events.

This will not be an account of what I'm doing from day to day, but a home for things I want to share. More to follow . . .
